As you probably know, YouTube is the most popular and user-friendly video sharing site on the Net. I have found it a Godsend for music videos, in particular. Gone are the days of flicking through MTV and the like, in the hope of finding something I really want to watch.

With YouTube, I can be my very own VJ or disc jockey. Not only have I dug up many old favorites I hadn’t seen or heard in years, but I’ve also discovered many new and exciting artists, some not even signed to a record company. There really is a wealth of talent out there and it’s all just a few clicks away.

What I haven’t been able to do is download and save my favorite YouTube clips. That was until I found VideoPiggy. Using this great little program, I can download, save, burn videos onto DVD and even transfer music files onto my MP3 player.

If you’re as big a fan of YouTube as I am, I guarantee you’ll love this simple, but highly versatile software. Now that I’ve tried it, I can’t imagine life without it.

It is time we implemented a great electronic circle of life, in which our devices are recycled and reused, rather than left in our landfills or shipped to other nations.

It begins with you. You buy the devices- millions of laptops, ipods, and iphones are sold every day in the United States. Many of these devices are rather disposable. In the last few years, the average lifespan of a laptop has shrunk to around 2 years.
